Well, we're not professional photographers, and winter
is certainly not the best time to photograph a boar, but we
wanted pictures of him for the site. BIG SHOT is one
exciting boar! He was raised on the fat lot where we were
feeding a bean meal based commercial feed, and he still
reached 250 lbs in 147 days! This boar is very long and
well muscled. He has excellent athleticism, and he just
keeps growing. Our first litters from him will be born in
March and we are very excited. This guy will make
excellent pigs for the show ring as well as fantastic
replacement gilts.
